MEDFUTURE LAUNCHES A SALIVA TEST FOR COVID-19 AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT QUEBEC

Medfuture Clinic announces today the launch of a home saliva collection kit for Covid-19 testing.

Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. - Clinique Medfuture confirms today the availability of its saliva collection kit for Covid-19 PCR testing which can be ordered directly online and shipped anywhere in Quebec within one business day.

Medfuture already offers screening tests with a car clinic in Mirabel and has several mobile field units that travel to homes and businesses in the greater Montreal area.

"As early as April 2020, we began working on implementing remote saliva testing," says Mario Tremblay, Founder of Clinique Medfuture. "Remote delivery and autonomous collection have the effect of minimizing contact and do not require health professionals. It is a tool we need to fight the pandemic".

The results of validations by various public and private laboratories of saliva PCR tests have proven to be just as effective as nasopharyngeal tests.

Medfuture's saliva collection kit can be ordered online and delivered anywhere in Quebec. The express return of the sample is prepaid and is done with a simple call to the carrier to arrange pickup at the customer's location. Reports are sent by email most of the time before 6 p.m. the day following receipt.

Medfuture has the infrastructure in place to handle up to several thousand packages per day. It is possible to order in different quantities.
