Medfuture is now offering its new mental health consultation service.

Mental health consultations are provided by by a specialized mental health nurse practitioner (SPN-MH), for a clientele aged 16 and over. The PHN-MH is qualified to assess mental disorders and intervene with people with mental disorders and their families using therapeutic interventions

Mental health: essential for optimal overall health

Although mental disorders are often complex, they can be managed to provide you with a better quality of life. Our team is able to evaluate each case individually and propose a series of actions to improve the well-being of each person. 

The initial mental health consultation includes:

  • 30-minute telemedicine consultation with a nurse to complete a medical questionnaire and initial assessment
  • 60-minute consultation with a mental health nurse practitioner
  • Care by a health professional
  • Prescription and medical certificate (if needed)
  • Laboratory request for blood test or other diagnostic test (if needed)
  • Medication prescription (if required)
  • Request for additional external and specialized services
