Biological Ages
We all know our chronological age: it's the number of candles we blow out on our birthday cake. This is the number to which we add one unit every year, whether we like it or not - we can't escape it! Biological age reflects the physiological or functional state of a person, which may correspond - or not - to their chronological age. Depending on the genetic profile, lifestyle habits, social and environmental factors, it is possible that the biological age of this person is higher or lower than their chronological age.
